Why this policy exists

Tinder's official policy treats subscriptions, Boosts, and Super Likes as generally non-refundable, with no prorated refund for partially used periods. There are two exceptions: (1) requesting a refund within 14 days of the charge, or (2) consumer protection law in your country/region mandating a refund. Subscriptions (Tinder Plus, Gold, Platinum) auto-renew unless separately canceled — a very common refund request is simply forgetting to cancel after a trial or one-time use. Cancellation has to go through your App Store/Play Store subscription settings; deleting your Tinder profile does NOT automatically cancel a live subscription.
