- GOAT Refund 2026: Fake Sneakers, Delayed Shipping and Store CreditOn October 6, 2026 the FTC began sending more than $100,000 to 6,205 GOAT customers who had not yet been paid. Most get a paper check (cash within 90 days); others get PayPal (redeem within 30 days). This follows more than $736,000 GOAT refunded directly in 2025 under its 2024 settlement.
- GOAT gave me store credit instead of a cash refund for fake sneakers. Is that allowed? The FTC said GOAT promised full refunds under its Buyer Protection policy for items that were inauthentic, incorrect or not as described, and that issuing in-store credit or partial refunds instead was part of what it challenged. The 2024 settlement requires GOAT to honor Buyer Protection. Ask GOAT for the refund its policy promised, in writing.
- My GOAT "priority" order shipped late. Could I have canceled for a refund?Under the FTC Mail, Internet or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule cited in the GOAT case, a seller that cannot ship on time must let you agree to the delay or cancel and get a prompt refund. The FTC alleged GOAT did not give buyers that choice for some priority-processing orders.
