SHORT ANSWER

Within 15 days of purchase, for unopened items, with the receipt and the card you paid with. Refunds are only possible at the store where you bought it. Exchanges for an item of the same price can be done at any nearby store except outlet stores.

01

What to do now

  1. Check the purchase date on the receipt is within 15 days.
  2. Do not open the case of anything you might return. Use the store tester to check colour or scent first.
  3. For a refund, go back to the store where you bought it, with the receipt and the card you paid with.
  4. If you cannot get back to that store, exchange at a nearby store for an item of the same price.
  5. If you bought it tax-free, ask how the return affects the tax refund before returning it.
What changes the outcome

Time (15 days), place (refunds only at the store of purchase) and condition (unopened) decide it.

Why this policy exists

Olive Young's official store FAQ (checked October 9, 2026):

· Period: 15 days from purchase, for items in normal (resellable) condition.

· Refunds: only at the store of purchase, because each store is registered as a separate business.

· Exchanges: at a nearby store (not outlet stores), for an item of the same price.

· Bring: the receipt and the payment card. If you lost the receipt, the store can look up the purchase from your card or CJ ONE points record within 15 days.

· Opened boxes: simply opening the case, or damaging or losing it, makes the item unsellable, so exchanges and refunds are difficult.

· Outlet stores: items bought at an outlet store can only be exchanged or refunded there.

For travellers, return to the original store within 15 days, meeting the item-condition requirements. Plan ahead if your itinerary makes another visit difficult.
