Will I pay customs duties on an OLIVE YOUNG Global order?
Possibly. Global says the customer is the importer and pays any duties, VAT or GST in their country. For the US, duties are charged at payment: 10% for orders paid from February 24, 2026, down from 15%. Duties already paid are not refunded by Global.
What to do now
- Check the duties and taxes shown on the payment screen before paying.
- Look up your country's import rules with your local customs office for anything not shown at checkout.
- If you prepaid taxes, check any additional charge with the carrier before paying. If it remains unresolved, contact OLIVE YOUNG Global with the invoice and charge details.
Who owns the resolution
Your country's customs authority sets duties. Global collects them at checkout for some countries, such as the US.
Evidence to prepare

Why this policy exists
OLIVE YOUNG Global's help center:
· The customer is the importer and is responsible for customs duties, GST, VAT and other charges. Couriers may add handling or brokerage fees, paid on delivery (updated September 10, 2026).
· If a package is delayed, returned or destroyed because duties were not paid, Global cannot reship or refund, and duties or fees already paid are not refundable.
· United States: duties have applied to US orders since August 27, 2025, and are charged at payment. The rate changed from 15% to 10% for orders paid after February 24, 2026, 20:00 KST, after the US Supreme Court ruling on reciprocal tariffs. Global says rates may change again.
· Global also has country notes for the EU (duties and VAT collected in advance from July 31, 2026), the UK, Canada, Mexico, Israel, France (small parcel tax) and New Zealand.
Lowering the declared value to avoid duties is not possible: Global declares the actual amount paid for each item after discounts.
